This year marks the 23rd anniversary of this special day.

In 2008, more than 125 communities and 50,000 people around the world will participate in the National Philanthropy Day events and celebrations. These events include award ceremonies, galas, luncheons, seminars and other special events. Many chapters honor outstanding donors, volunteers, corporations, foundations, small businesses, youth in philanthropy and others in their local community who are making a difference everyday.

In the United States alone, there are more than 1 million charitable organizations, and Americans gave approximately $295 billion to charitable causes. Paradise Delight has tapped into this philanthropic network and is regarded as the leader for event designs.

Glamorous and dramatic, this tablescape is nothing short of show stopping! A vast centerpiece boasting dozens of white calla lilies, roses, freesia and phalaenopsis orchids create a stunning canopy from which a single pomander ball is suspended. The light blue linen trimmed with beads and the centerpiece draped in crystals give a feeling of sheer opulence!

THE BRIDE WANTED A TROPICAL WEDDING! THE GROOM WANTED A TRADITIONAL STYLE! PARADISE DELIGHT SAID "YES" TO BOTH OF THEIR DESIRES!

Having a clear vision our our clients desires allows us to create settings that reflects their individual style and taste.

In this example, the bride wanted a tropical theme fused with vibrant colors! The groom didn't want the tropical feel. However, he wanted a traditional style with a softer pallets - ivory, creme and white! So here is our solution that satisfied the bride and groom.

There is a progression in the celebration! There ceremony focused on the tropical altar! The cocktail reception utilized less tropical essence. The ballroom focused on the traditional style of creme, white, champagnes and latte.

In the ceremony, our focus was to create a setting so that the guests would naturally gravitate their eyes towards the altar area. So we introduced a bamboo structure framed with hints of vibrant colors. So orchids were framed on the corners of the bamboo structure. This satisfied bride's tropical theme.

We fused the couples individual style by having their POOCH as the ring bearer. In addition, we fused latte sash treatments on the chair covers and cake.

For cost containment, we transferred the submerge orchids in glass placed along the bridal aisle and utilized them as the "base" of the guest centerpiece. Check out these amazing images from Chris Griffiths of Immagery Immaculate Photography
