What started as a floral studio selling only tropical and Hawaiian leis, quickly morphed into a blooming blooming business catering to large-scale floral events.

"Our business grew through hotels and strategic partnerships with catering companies," explains co-owner Chris Crisologo, who works overtime planning and preparing floral decor for displays for special events.

When designing, Chris focuses on client customization. "I need to identify their style, essence, color preference and, of course, budget," he says. His attention to client needs and satisfactions account for Paradise Delight's impressive clientele.

Since opening Paradise Delight Floral and Events eight years ago, Chris has provided floral services to the likes of Oprah and David Beckham, as well as the Hyatt Regency, The Westin and the famous South Coast Plaza.

A fusion style of tropical hints with modern, traditional and contemporary flair make it a favorite for shows at Bloomingdale's and philanthropic events, where Chris enjoys giving back to the community.

Paradise Delight Florist, a couture floral designer for discerning clients, will be showcasing their holiday artwork at Villeroy & Boch.

"CIRQUE DU SOLEIL" A POPULAR CORPORATE THEME FOR 2010

Paradise Delight, a leading floral and event styling company for corporate celebration, travelled to Las Vegas to check out Cirque du Soleil, a popular theme for 2010 corporate events.

From "Mistere", a classic Cirque du Soleil production that combines high-energy acrobats and dramatic dance with vibrant constumes.

"Ka" explores love and conflict through an adventurous journey in the ever-changing theatrical landscape that conjures an entire empire on stage.

"O" pays tribute to the beauty of the theater where anything is possible and where the dream of life plays itself out before our very eyes.

Our favorite show is "La Reve" at the Wynn Hotel. A cast of 85 performers routinely offer aerial acrobatics and provocative choreography in an intimate aquatic theater environment involving a million gallon water tank. Le Reve is of French derivation meaning "the dream".

RITZ CARLTON RESORT + BECKMAN COULTER + AWARDS CELEBRATION + PARADISE DELIGHT = MAGICAL RETREAT

For many of our clients, including many Fortune 500, Paradise Delight Floral & Events are the preferred designers to create innovative designs for their VIP guest.

For example, Beckman Coulter honored their leading scientist at the Ritz Carlton Resort in Laguna Niguel last week. Like the recipients for the awards, Paradise Delight was challenge create innovate designs.

The challenge ... time! Only two-weeks of lead time to create the event.

Another challenge ... COHESIVELY pull our client's preferred color scheme (royal blue) with respect to the newly renovate ballroom (hotel chairs of sea foam blue with silver trims, sea foam carpeting with copper and brown circles, chandelier of a contemporary theme with beige lining).

The solution? Having known what is on inventory with all the leading linen firms, we turned to La Tavola Linens to help us with this project. We selected a Jaffe Swirl Tidepool for the guest tables.

Check out the linen (it has copper and beige circles that pulled in with the carpeting and the chandelier). Iridescent taffeta teal napkins placed on the charger to accentuate the soft blue guest tables. High gloss silver containers that reflected the patterns of the linens and cohesively flowed with the silver trims on the chairs.

Other elements included floral to have a contemporary feel with shades of purple. Up lighting throughout the perimeter of the ballroom. Velor pipe with hints of turquoise to soften the stage with two large screens on opposite ends of the stage.

The result? MAGICAL! Beckman Coulter team applauded our work. The Ritz Carlton catering and banquet staffed was amazed to see a linen that pulls the elements of the ballroom so cohesively.

PARADISE DELIGHT SELECTED AS DESIGNER FOR THE NATIONAL PHILANTHROPIC DAY CELEBRATION!

Paradise Delight Floral & Event Designs is honored to be part of the design team of the National Philanthropic Day Celebration.

National Philanthropy Day, the day set aside by Congress to recognize the great contributions of philanthropy in our country and those people active in the philanthropic community.

The celebration will take place on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at the Anaheim Marriott Hotel. This year, perhaps more than ever before, it is essential that we gather the philanthropic community together and celebrate the power of charitable giving.
